From Rio, one of our co-coordinators… Pat and I are delighted to announce that the Exiles is the recipient of the Pantheon of Leather 2015 Award for Small Club of the Year! We are honored and humbled to get this national recognition for the work that we do.
Being a club whose emphasis is on the BDSM education of women, and who welcomes all those who do not identify as male, we think it’s crucial in this age of instant (and often inaccurate) Internet information, that women* have a safe place to learn, grow, network, and gain experience from those who have traveled these paths before.
The Exiles runs entirely on volunteer labor, and we want to thank the presenters, the volunteers, the panel members, the performers, and the event planners who make everything happen. We’d also like to thank those who attend our programs in order to grow their skills and knowledge, and yes, have a good time.
