About the Presenters:

Marilyn has been active in the leather scene since 1986. She was a charter member of the Exiles, where she has served as an officer for many years. Marilyn has presented at Black Rose, Ladyfest, San Francisco State, Leather Traditions, the Folsom Street Fair, International Ms. Leather, Leather Leadership Conference, Leather Levi Weekend, Northwest Leather Celebration, Dark Odyssey: Surrender, The Group In Fresno, and Butch Voices. She won the 2016 Jim Remer Community Volunteer Award, given by the San Francisco Bay Area Leather Alliance, for her work in the leather community. She is a member of MAsT San Francisco, is Mama’s “Fierce Femme Top,” and is happily polyamorous with a slave, a special boi, and other friends and play partners who enrich her life. She is also a computer professional with two adult children, and is a Trustee at her synagogue.

Rio has been in the scene since 2007, identifies as a butch leatherdyke, and is honored to wear Marilyn’s collar. She served as Ms. San Francisco Sober Leather in 2016, and was popularly elected by her community as the 2015 female Leather Marshall at the San Francisco Pride Parade. She is a member of MAsT San Francisco, an officer of the Exiles (since 2011), and has been an organizational director of the San Francisco Bay Area Leather Alliance. She was on the planning committee of the Northwest Leather Celebration for 4 years, through 2016, running the silent auction. Feeding her passion for both education and exhibitionism, she has presented at the Northwest Leather Celebration, the Southwest Leather Conference, the Folsom Street Fair, International Ms. Leather, and demo bottomed at numerous events in the northern California area. She is a proud member of Mama’s Family as “Mama’s Oakland Rio”.
