Rio has been in the scene since 2007, identifies as a butch leatherdyke, and is honored to wear Marilyn’s collar. She is a member of MAsT San Francisco, an officer of the Exiles (since 2011), and has been an organizational director of the San Francisco Bay Area Leather Alliance. She was on the planning committee of the Northwest Leather Celebration for 4 years, through 2016, running the silent auction. Feeding her passion for both education and exhibitionism, she has presented at the Northwest Leather Celebration, the Southwest Leather Conference, the Folsom Street Fair, International Ms. Leather, and demo bottomed at numerous events in the northern California area.
