Beat the Heat is The Exiles’ summer play party. A hot evening of leather, kink, curiosity, connection, and community.

Come to play. Come to watch. Come to negotiate something you’ve been fantasizing about for months.

The evening begins with a special educational showcase featuring live demonstrations from upcoming Exiles instructors. Watch experienced players demonstrate negotiation, communication, creativity, and technique as they build scenes from start to finish.

Then it’s your turn.

Whether you’re a seasoned player, a curious newcomer, a Top, a bottom, a switch, or still figuring it out, there’s a place for you here.

Kick off the evening by watching three incredible educators demonstrate the communication, creativity, negotiation, and technical skills that bring BDSM scenes to life.

Each demo station includes:

• Live demonstration scene
• QR code to register for the full class
• Negotiation Note Cards showing how the scene was negotiated, including limits, boundaries, and communication before play began

After purchasing your ticket, you’ll receive a confirmation email with everything you need to know before arriving, including accessibility information, our COVID policy, event rules, and play party guidelines so you can arrive prepared for a night that’s safe, consensual, and hot as hell.

Interested in helping make the magic happen?

A limited number of volunteer positions are available in exchange for free admission. Volunteers assist with set-up, the welcome table, food service, dungeon monitoring, and clean-up.
