Ready, set, flirt! Get up to date and on-board with your flagging skills in this fun and interactive workshop designed to expand participants’ understanding and use of hankies in their own practice and play. This workshop will cover flagging techniques throughout history, including the Hanky Code, and the ways the Code has evolved and changed over time. Come learn about flagging for identity vs. interest and practical ways to flag for flirting and fun! Discover how to use the Hanky Code as a gateway to play negotiations and consider ways to personalize your flagging to suit your individuality.
A KinkyCraft Pop-Up Shop will be held at the end of the workshop!

About our Presenter
A fierce advocate for visibility and community building, Shilo combines her DIY aesthetic with kinky functionality to design and sell creative flagging solutions, most notably, her Femme Flagging Flowers. Shilo believes in recording and honoring leather history while building bridges toward inclusiveness. When not in service to her sewing machine making customized hanky related items, she is busy pursuing her own art projects photographing the leather, kink and sex-positive communities of the San Francisco Bay Area as she has done for over 15 years. She has exhibited her work nationally and internationally and is honored to have her images in several print publications. Her work has been included in the Kinsey Institute Gallery’s permanent collection and her self-published exhibition catalog from the “I masturbate…” show is now housed in an archive at Harvard University. She is honored to work as the current Director of Photography for International Ms Leather Productions, LLC, since 2014. Additionally, she has served on the board of LVA: Lesbians in the Visual Arts and was a Project Photographer for the Bay Area BDSM Women of Color Photo Project.
