Event Type

The Exiles is an inclusive and sex positive space for all people who are women, intersex, nonbinary, genderqueer, gender variant, or gender-nonconforming. People who are men are asked not to attend.

Turning off your worries and being fully immersed in the moment can be challenging…especially now. After a brief discussion of safety for self-tying, this session will explore the concept of flow, and how to apply three key aspects of flow states to bring yourself into the present with self-bondage. Free-form spiral-style floor bondage, fluid rope handling, and making self-bondage more intense (some might say “painful”) will be discussed and demonstrated. This session includes optional participatory activities – if you’d like to tie along, recommended supplies include at least two full (approximately 30′) lengths of rope and an appropriate cutting tool.
